Justitieombudsmannen JO

What The Parliamentary Ombudsman (JO) checks that public agencies and public officials follow the law and treat people correctly in their dealings with the public.

Who JO is elected by the Riksdag (Sweden's parliament) and stands independent from the Government and the agencies that are scrutinised.

How You can report for free if you think a public agency has treated you or someone else wrongly, even though JO cannot change the decision itself.
